Your armor and weapons
1.
The
names of God perhaps just know who God is will be your most powerful
weapon. We learn the names and nature of
God through THE WORD
I have in a post on Wednesday June 26 2013 listed many of the names of God please go back and look them up. His names are mighty and as His heir we have the right to use every one of them.
2.
Who
do we war against? It is important that while it might be a person that seems to be the enemy it is not, it is the spirit behind that person, religion, Nation. Understanding this will make it much easier to forgive people because they are not the enemy.
Ephesians 6:12-13
12 For
we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities,
against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Principalities
Principalities
are a territory a prince reigns over under the authority of a King.
Here I am going to state my opinion that is not necessarily correct but I think is logical.
The
fallen angels were all given territories or princes by Who. Lucifer! I
think when the Bible talks of Satan it is not talking about Lucifer because as
an angel he can not be in more than one place at a time, but rather it refers
to the angels that fell from heaven at the same time, and for demons which were
basically made when Fallen Angels mated with women.
Lucifer does not
consider himself a prince but rather a "King" So it would be then
that Lucifer has assigned the other angels territories or principalities.
There are some named in the Bible
But the prince of the
Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the
chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia. (Dan 10:13)
So he said, “Do you know why I have come to you? Soon I will
return to fight against the prince of Persia,
and when I go, the prince of Greece
will come; but first I will tell you what is written in the Book of Truth.
(No one supports me against them except Michael, your prince. And in the
first year of Darius the Mede, I took my stand to support and protect
him.) (Dan 10:20-11:1)
POWERS
Powers are likely
controlled by demons under the direction of Angels. In life though these are
very easily missed as an enemy.
Let me give you an example from Canada. My dad as a senior is entitled to certain benefits but has to be approved for others. Most people here in Canada assumes though if the government says no he can't have it, that they are the final authority and therefore I cannot do anything about it. What we in Canada forget is that we live in a democracy which means that the Government are elected to represent us in the country. The people are the government, I am the government so there is a higher level of accountability. This however is true but most people will not even try to contradict a "no" from the government, why is that? It is that way because a "POWER" is working behind it. We always seem to attack the politicians which is some ways is good because it makes them more accountable but we will never defeat the enemy that way, we do it by prayer and making declarations and waging spiritual warfare. There are hundreds of these kind of "Powers" and the way we fight them is with the Word of God. I will over time help anyone to describe and expose the "powers" that effect them, their country etc.

Psalm 91 NLT
1 Those who live in the shelter of the Most High
will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 This I declare about the Lord:
He alone is my refuge, my place of safety;
he is my God, and I trust him.
3 For he will rescue you from every trap
and protect you from deadly disease.
4 He will cover you with his feathers.
He will shelter you with his wings.
His faithful promises are your armor and protection.
5 Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night,
nor the arrow that flies in the day.
6 Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness,
nor the disaster that strikes at midday.
7 Though a thousand fall at your side,
though ten thousand are dying around you,
these evils will not touch you.
8 Just open your eyes,
and see how the wicked are punished.
9 If you make the Lord your refuge,
if you make the Most High your shelter,
10 no evil will conquer you;
no plague will come near your home.
11 For he will order his angels
to protect you wherever you go.

so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.

you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet!

I will protect those who trust in my name.

I will be with them in trouble.
I will rescue and honor them.

and give them my salvation.”

The
Belt of Truth:
The
belt of truth Guards our bowels and internal organs our emotions. Truth keeps
us secure in Christ and makes effective all the other pieces of armor. If you have read the Battleground of the mind
post I always challenge those lies in our mind with the Truth. When the Bible
talks about emotions though it talks about the Bowels. This belt is also protects purity.
Psalms 119:9 How can a
young man cleanse his way?
By taking heed according to Your word.
The belt of truth the Word of God will help you keep your private parts or life pure.
The belt
of truth holds our amour in place. Commit yourself daily to walk in the light
of God's truth. "Teach me your ways, O Lord, that I may live according to
your truth!" Psalm 86:11
Breastplate of Righteousness
With the breastplate of righteousness in place, A
soldier goes into battle boldly with confidence. The devil is constantly
attacking waiting to find accusations that will annul your Salvation. When we
do what is right our focus can be fully to the battle, our heart is guarded
because we do what is right and pleasing to God. Without the breastplate of righteousness,
these will penetrate your heart. Become aware of who you are in Christ Jesus.
Come boldly into His presence (Hebrews 4:16).
Shoes of Peace
When we have the peace of God governing our walk the we walk in safety.
Proverbs
28:1
The wicked flee when no one pursues,
But the righteous are bold as a lion.
For
shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully
prepared. Shoes allow us to step freely and without fear while we turn our full
attention to the battle at hand. They aid in our movement and defence. The
shoes God gives propel us onward to proclaim the true peace, which is available
in Christ. Prepare yourself to follow the Lord no matter what.
Shield of faith able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked ones.
The
shield not only defends our whole body but also our armor. The shield of faith
has a very specific function, which the Bible makes abundantly clear: quench
all the fiery darts of the wicked. Not some but all of them. The shield moves
with the attack no matter the direction.
The Helmet of Salvation
Satan's
target: Your mind. Satan's weapon: Lies. The enemy wants to make us doubt God
and our salvation. The helmet protects our minds from doubting the truth of
God's saving work for us. "Since we belong to the day, we must be serious
and put the armor of faith and love on our chests, and put on a Helmet of the
Hope of Salvation" 1 Thessalonians 5:8
The helmet also covers your ears which protect you even further from hearing the lies of the enemy. God speaks to our heart.

every conqueror must use to defeat the enemy and win the war not just the
battles.
Revelation 12:11

they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their
testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
