Prayer for the House of the Lord

One of the things we often forget is to prayer for a healthy unified Church. The Church is a home and needs to have healthy family relationships.

This requires a few things one, an attitude of "I'm in for the long haul" they are my family and I will always will have them as my family.  In the natural for the most part you are stuck with whoever you get. The house of God is not treated like that, we think "if I don't like this church then I will just go to another one." there only transplants that God wants are ones of grafting. Taken you from one tree to another for the sake of the health of both.

By this I mean if you go to another city you should go with the blessing of that body with you, not because your angry or bored. When people leave churches because of offense then that offense goes with them and it will be going with them over and over until they either go back to the start or finally stay somewhere long enough to learn forgiveness of offenses. The other reason for transplant isn't really a transplant but rather a root of the original tree like missions.
You do not have to trust other people, as a matter of fact you shouldn't what you trust is the plan of God for your life.  Go back and read the Judas principle Jesus knew Judas would betray Him Hew knew Judas was a thief yet He called him to follow Him and Jesus put him over the money box. If you get this then the second thing is easy. Forgive people their ......everything

The Bible Promises us offenses will come

Luke 17:1

New King James Version (NKJV)

Then He said to the disciples, “It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come! It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones. Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you,[a] rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you,[b] saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.”Jesus Warns of Offenses

We like the rebuke them but not if they repent forgive them.
So today as you go to Church pray for a health functioning Family of God in the House of God !  Don't forget to pray for your pastor and leaders they need pray more then anyone.
HAPPY SUNDAY
