The 7th 5 minutes in the hour of Prayer "THINE"

Wow we are now at 40 minutes of prayer. Can you believe it? You might by now be doing much more.
As we grow in Prayer I suggest that you get used to structure in Prayer before spending too much time in just one area because the Lord's Prayer is complete and is written to give you an Idea of your completeness in Prayer.

FOR THINE
Just who is Thine?

Larry Leas book actually starts with Our Father.  I am going to start there this week.  Because The Lord's prayer actually empowers us with the blessings of The Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit.
We see right at the beginning of the prayer that it tells us to pray to the Father. Actually it says to pray Our Father.  Then it moves on to the names of God and teaches us to worship the Names of God.  Showing you all the attributes of God. in verse 12 it talks about forgiveness so it introduces the Son and what He did and finally in the 5 minutes from last week we learned that we can ask Him to lead us that would be talking to the Holy Spirit IN US.

Now we are going to talk about the Father and the rights we have because of our Father.
THE FATHERS INHERITANCE
 FOR HIS SON

Charles Spurgeon did quite a good paper on this you can find it@ http://www.spurgeon.org/sermons/0402.htm
However it is a little bit hard to understand for people that haven't a little theology training. I will be sharing a little simpler what he said in 1861.
"Joint heirs with Christ."

Romans 8:15-17
So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children.

Now we call him, “Abba, Father.” For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children.  And since we are his children, we are his heirs.

In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God’s glory. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering.
So this next 5 Minutes of pray is just to take time to declare and claim our rights of the Child of the King our Father the same as Christ the King of Kings. Joint-Heirs.
     I. First, then, there is A LEGAL TERM IN THE WILL UPON WHICH THE WHOLE MATTER WILL HINGE. We are called "joint heirs with Christ"—what does this mean?

It means, first of all, that our right to the divine heritage stands or falls with Christ's right to the same inheritance.
We are co-heirs; if Jesus is truly an heir, so are we; and if he is not, neither are we.
Simply this means if Christ is the Son of God and has done what the Bible says He has done then we indeed are joint heirs.
This is a little of what Charles Spurgeon had to say about our right to be free from accusation:
Perhaps there may be a suit in law made against the will (inheritance); some antagonist may set up a counter claim; an enemy to the entire family may proceed at once to attack the will with venom and with malice; he may take it into the Heavenly Court Judge, and stand before the great Judge, and debate the question  as to if the inheritance can be legally and lawfully ours.
Then it is Christ's interest that is at stake as well as mine; he will be co-respondent in the suit. When Satan stood forth to accuse Joshua, the high priest, he did in effect accuse Christ as well as that chosen disciple, and the Lord was not slow to put in his rejoinder to the objection: "The Lord rebuke thee, O Satan, even the Lord that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire? "If Satan bring an accusation before God against any of the Lord's redeemed, that accusation is made against the Redeemer himself, for God's people are so one with Christ, that you must first bring the charge against Christ himself ere you dare to lay it against any of his elect.
Daniel 7 contains what is perhaps the clearest passage depicting this judgment. That chapter speaks of a terrible religious-political power, symbolically portrayed as a little horn, that persecutes God’s saints until a heavenly judgment results in their being delivered into God’s eternal kingdom: “ ‘As I watched, this horn was waging war against the saints and defeating them, until the Ancient of Days (Jesus) came and pronounced judgment in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came when they possessed the kingdom’ ”
(Daniel 7:21, 22). A few verses later, Daniel describes the same event, beginning with a depiction of the little horn: “ ‘ “He will speak against the Most High and oppress his saints and try to change the set times and the laws. The saints will be handed over to him for a time, times and half a time.
“ ‘ “But the court will sit, and his power will be taken away and completely destroyed forever. Then the sovereignty, power and greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven will be handed over to the saints, the people of the Most High. His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all rulers will worship and obey him” ’ ” (verses 25–27).
Although Adam because of disobedience lost the right to be the heir of The King. Jesus by dying give us that right again. He also took the title of the morning star which Lucifer had in Heaven. Revelation22:16

“I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this message for the churches. I am both the source of David and the heir to his throne. I am the bright morning star.”
So according to the Word of God We are going to win this Law suit.  We are joint heirs with Christ.

This is why Jesus' Father
is Our Father

II. What is the estate worth to us?

Your rights in the estate is only worth what Christ rights are in the estate.
-Jesus is sanctified (made Holy) so you are sanctified (made Holy).
2 Peter 1-4
Simon Peter, a bond servant and apostle of Jesus Christ,
To those who have obtained like precious faith with us by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ:
Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

So all the Promises in the Bible are ours to claim
