Our mind is full of strongholds we know them as thoughts, but they are not the truth, but rather what we think is truth. A stronghold is a safe, secure place that is there for the protection of something. In this case a thought.
So we may think we are stupid and for year after year we build up ways to make this thought more rooted more secure in us and so we may not bother to ever challenge that maybe we are not stupid.
Experience and people may even do more to convince us that this is true so we put up even a stronger stronghold to protect us from the fear of failure. When Jesus calls us and we respond though Jesus wants to tear down every vain or useless thoughts that rise above what He has to say about you and who he is.
2 Corinthians 10:4-7
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.
4
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,
5
casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself
against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to
the obedience of Christ,
6
and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.
7
Do you look at things according to the outward appearance? If anyone
is convinced in himself that he is Christ's, let him again consider
this in himself, that just as he is Christ's, even so we are Christ's.
The Carnal mind looks a little like this. Before we are saved this is often what our minds look like:
Jesus by his blood can wash our minds so that they are centered on Him, who He is and what He has done for us.
So After we are save our challenge is to tear down the oppressed house of thoughts and rise up a renewed mind full of God's wisdom through His word.
So today try to think some of the things that you believe that go against the Word of God and who God says you are. See if you can find some in your Bible or Here is a place where you can find some of the things God says about you.

until tomorrow God Bless you and Help you to know just who you are because of who He is and what He has done for you!
